The rehabilitation of the area in Blue Mountain (on Stagecoach Trail) on the Little Thompson River is one that LTWC is extremely proud to see get underway.
It includes a new bridge and restoration of the floodplain above and below the bridge. We began work on this immediately after the flood in 2013 with residents volunteering their time for clean-up of the area, then serving on a steering committee to seek funding, and finally as board members and advisory board members of the nonprofit organization called the Little Thompson Watershed Coalition. We worked with local, state and federal officials and with other nonprofits and non-governmental organizations to get funding for this multi-faceted project. We owe a lot of thanks to many people.
For all the details of the project, please go to each of the tabs below this project page. You will find maps, specifications, community meeting notes, construction schedules and other details.
If you have questions about the project, please call LTWC staff (see the Contact Us page). LTWC acquired the funding for the project and now serves as the conduit of information from Larimer County and the contractors to the residents.
Thank you for your support of this project.
